Barotseland National Health System

HEALTH SERVICE
Health Service in Barotseland, upon Independence from North Rhodesia is given Free of Charge. Doctors and Nurses are paid directly from the State.

MEDICATION
Prescriptions are available free of charge for pensioners and all those in receipt of social benefit. Those citizens not on social benefit pay a standard fixed price of $5 per medication.
